Dog Plastic Surgery
You may consider tail docking, ear cropping and removing dew claws as dog plastic surgery.
Do these surgeries contribute to dog health and longevity or are they selfish choices on our part? Let's take a look at the debate over each of these procedures. I have been on both sides of the fence on these issues and hate to see total bias from either perspective, especially hatred of other people over this kind of disagreement. It really comes down to the personal choice of the dog owner and I wish other people would agree to disagree.

Maybe we could then move on to things more important overall like truly nutritious dog foods and vaccination side effects so our current and all future dogs live longer healthier lives, free from debilitating diseases.
- First we have dog ear cropping which creates better circulation for the inner ear. If you use acupuncture or acupressure, how do you make up for the missing parts? Are there any dangers in this procedure?
- As for dog tail docking, what is it's purpose and could there be any problems besides it being harder to catch when the dog spins circles?
- And we have dewclaw removal. Do we help our dog's comfort by removing these digits or just pad the veterinarian's pocket?
- Although not done for health or aesthetic reasons, what about dog debarking surgery? Is it kind, cruel, or just plain lazy or selfish on our part?
Read each of these articles and decide for yourself. After all, you have a right to your opinion. There are other plastic surgery options. Did you know that a male dog can reclaim his manhood by getting testicle implants? They're called neuticles. What will people think of next? ~ ~ ~
