The Three Little Pitties

( Part One )

This, along with the fact that 4 rambunctious dogs were a handful, kept the dogs at home all the time and they began to fear people as well. Not a good thing at all.

Well, those puppies grew up and one of them moved away with his special person in that family. His name was Kurby. The Mom person missed her son and his dog terribly. She worried that the now grown Pit would be ostracized in his new home town.

She missed Kurby so much she even called him on the phone. One day she asked the Kurbster in a very loud voice (so her son would hear) to please send her his picture. A few months passed, and she received a lovely picture she put in the center of a collage with his baby picture and some family snapshots:

Kurby had a few dog friends but was having a tough time making human friends. It seemed the combination of both dog and humans being unsure, made bonding or even acceptance difficult.

Then the Mom's son had a brilliant idea. Whenever he invited people to his house, he dressed up Kurby. The Kurbster didn't mind at all and the affect it had on people was amazing.

Soon Kurby was a social butterfly, being invited everywhere with the Mom's son.

The Mom was so proud of her son and Kurby. She still missed them but she enjoyed making a new collage.

The Mom even got a visit from Kurby along with her son. It was a fabulous reunion. More pictures were taken. This one was a favorite:
