Healthy Dog Biscuits

Here you will find the easiest healthy dog biscuits you will ever see.

You can make these with just 4 or 5 ingredients and cut any shape you want or roll them like a stick.

Homemade Dog Biscuits The supplies are simple too. Two bowls, rolling pin, a cookie sheet, measuring cups, a whisk (or fork) and spoon. If you don’t have a rolling pin you can use a glass. Ready, set, go!

NOTE: Did you know pumpkin for dogs is a good thing? Pumpkin cures dog diarrhea and dog constipation. Imagine that! Just remember to buy a can of PLAIN PUMPKIN instead of the sugary
pumpkin pie filling.

Healthy Pumpkin Dog Biscuits
PUMPKIN FLAX STICKS

1 cup rice flour
1 cup PLAIN canned pumpkin
1 t. cinnamon
½ cup flax seeds

Set oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, flax seeds and cinnamon. Add pumpkin. Mix and roll teaspoon full with the palm of your hands 1/3 to ½ inch thick. Place on cookie sheet and bake 25 minutes.

Almond Butter Dog Biscuits

ALMOND BUTTER DOG BISCUITS

1 cup rice flour
3/4 cup rolled oats or oat flour
1/3 cup almond butter
½ cup grated carrot
½ cup hot water

Set oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, oats and grated carrot in first bowl. In second bowl mix hot water and almond butter. Combine almond butter mixture with flour mixture. On lightly floured surface, roll dough ¼ to ½ inch thick. Use cookie cutter and place on cookie sheet. Bake 40 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet to make them crisper.

BEEFY O’s

1 cup rice flour
1/3 cup spelt flour
1/3 cup finely grated carrot or beet
2 jars beef baby food (2-1/2 oz. each)
¼ hot water

I was originally going to make these Doggie Pretzels, but I was lazy and I’m not all that good at making uniform rolls for twisting so I settled for O’s.

Set oven to 350 degrees. Mix flours and grated veggie in first bowl. In second bowl mix hot water and baby food. Combine meat and flour mixtures. Roll teaspoon full with the palm of your hands. Place on cookie sheet in an O pattern and bake 25 minutes.
