My Sweet Tucker

Me and Tucker

Me and Tucker
Tucker and Zoey's first meeting

I had my sweet Tucker for almost 13 years when he suddenly passed away 3 days ago from what was either a heart attack or stroke. I was with him and holding him in my arms as he passed.

I am devastated and heartbroken. The pain and loss I feel is beyond what words can describe. I just feel like I need a sign from him letting me know he is OK.

The only comfort I take is that he was enjoying life and doing everything he loved to do up until this happened. I am glad I didn't have to see him suffer or become sick and go downhill.

He was that "Once in a lifetime dog"....we had this special bond between us that is hard to explain. He was a beautiful 115 pound St. Bernard / Rottweiler Mix, although he looked like a giant reddish colored Lab. I will forever miss him and look forward to seeing him again one day at the Rainbow Bridge along with my other dogs who have passed, Haus and Dozer.

RIP my sweet boy, I hope you knew just how much you meant to us and were loved.

Thank You Andrea
by: Jody

Thank you so much Andrea and that is definately how I will think of it from now on. It's kind of funny...I have been struggling and praying for some kind of sign to let me know he is ok up in heaven and the sun is setting here in Ohio and I went outside on my porch and looked up and saw a T in the sky from two airplanes whose paths had crossed...a big and bold T...I even took pictures. Your post and getting my sign from my beloved Tucker has eased my pain a little tonight and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hoping this website comforts others in this difficult time like it has me.

Tucker at Rainbow Bridge
by: Andrea

Jody, my heart goes out to you and I know it's hard to deal with such a sudden death. The one thing I think you'll appreciate in time is how lucky Tucker was to have gone so fast.

And that special bond really doesn't happen with everyone.

Now instead of thinking R.I.P. I hope you'll change that to "Play till I get there" and think of him doing just that at Rainbow Bridge.

Bless you both,

~Andrea
