Remembering My Boy Max
by S Armstrong
I miss him so much. Even after seven years I still tear up just thinking of his wrinkly face. Max was a Pit Bull/Shar Pei mix and he was l4-years-old when he left us.
It was amazing he died in my arms when I got home from school and I still take comfort in the fact he wanted me to spend his final moments with him.
I just hope when my times comes to leave this world I'll get to hug and kiss him once more because now he only resides in my heart.

I do believe in the Rainbow Bridge poem and that death doesn't kill the spirit. I also bet that Max loves you as much as ever and he'll be there waiting for you.
