Pittie Patter --Nightmare on Three Little Pitties Street
September 28, 2014

(Quick note before we start: if you don't see the logo above you are receiving this in html format. You can also view it in color on the website at )

Have you ever gotten off course trying to do the right thing, only to have it become a nightmare and then you wanted to give up?

What do you do?

Share. Tell a friend. You get input from someone you trust, right?

You might be wondering what kind of problem I could have, so here it is. I'm a dog health coach. I don't want to be a dog disease coach and I am bombarded by people with big dog health problems like diabetes and renal failure. I've repeatedly spent 40 hours a week (for free) helping them, holding their hands and crying over their dogs long after I shut down the computer. These people love their dogs just like we love ours. They just didn’t know.

I wanted to help and I did it by choice but still I was miserable, heartbroken and overwhelmed. I felt my life was being taken over by disease and dogs' lives cut short.

I nearly pulled the plug on the Three Little Pitties website. The pain was awful. How could I not feel it? It was sucking the life out of me.

Then three women stepped in. A close friend, my daughter and a long time reader (who is now a good friend) all screamed, "NO!"

They said I couldn't throw away years of hard work or let my subscribers down. They insisted I get back to work on prevention and picture saving my subscribers from the future heartache my contacts are having now.

How to Relieve the Nightmare

First, I repeated the serenity prayer (many times). Then I listened to my subscribers.

Two of the most asked questions are:

• Do I need to sign up again? I'm not getting your newsletter and I miss you. (Gulp, that made me feel guilty.)

• When are you going to do a program or class so I can learn more? I love the down to earth way you share your knowledge. (Good grief, how do I find the time for that?)

What is a broken hearted dog lover and health coach to do? (Silly, that's the question I asked myself.)

Answer: Get help to answer some of those contacts and get back in the game to COACH! And here's what's going on.

First, the newsletter will be arriving in your inbox far more often but it will be shorter.

Not only that, the name will change because I don't want to pitter patter around quite so much anymore. (I’ll give you a sneak peak of the new name in a minute.)

Next, I'm working on those classes but why guess what you want to learn about most? I need you to tell me how I can help you best. Even if you didn’t specifically ask me for a class, I need your help because it will improve the newsletter and the website as well. We are a team. All of us. (Eh! don't click away assuming everyone else will do it. You count too.)

Now please take the super short multiple choice survey today and I'll share the results next week.

At the end of the survey you'll see the new newsletter logo. Here’s the link:

Together we can make a difference.
