Rabies Shots for Dogs
Prevention or Canine Illness?

Rabies shots for dogs are still required every three years even though they likely last a lifetime. The danger of vaccines might be bigger than you know.

As more vaccines are given, the more assaulted the immune system becomes; and auto immune diseases may develop.

I also didn't know that 22 to 24% of rabies vaccinated dogs get terminal cancer from the vaccine. Here's the link at PetMD Not until after it happened to my dog. Funny how we don't think about things until we're faced with them isn't it?

Please remember that most vaccines are your choice and never allow your dog to be vaccinated when he or she has any health issues at all.

And if your dog is taking medications, your vet can sign a waiver that your dog is not healthy enough to be vaccinated and you can still obtain a dog license where you live.

Please learn your options so you can protect your dog.

Rabies shots for dogs cause cancer

My dog was one of those who suffered and died.

The injection site swelled up and never went down.

In fact it grew hideously big and he died from the cancer caused by the shot that was supposed to protect him.

I swore I would never share this picture. It's hideous and it got worse before he left me.

But there is a point to be made and I want you to be aware.

Plus, rabies shots for dogs do more than cause cancer.

Rabies Vaccine Side Effects

Your veterinarian has a legal and ethical obligation to fully inform you about the benefits AND dangers of vaccines. It's called the obligation of Informed Consent. Amazingly none of my vets said more than, "He might not feel well for a few days."

Few of us are warned about these possible rabies shot reactions, and even when our dog develops them, we are not made aware of the connection. The vet may not even recognize unexpected or rare reactions. Adverse reactions are seldom reported since all reporting is voluntary. Here's the list.

Immediately or up to 3 days after the rabies shot:

  • Vomiting
  • Facial swelling
  • Fever or lethargy
  • Circulatory shock
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Death

Days, weeks or months after the shot:

  • Fibrosarcoma (cancer) at the injection site
  • Seizures and Epilepsy
  • Allergies
  • Autoimmune diseases, including organ disease, allergies and skin problems
  • Chronic digestive problems
  • Muscle weakness, especially lack of hind end coordination
  • Chronic digestive disorders
  • Skin diseases like Ischemic Dermatopathy / Cutaneous vasculitis
  • Behavior problems: aggression, destructive behaviors, separation anxiety and odd obsessive behaviors (like tail chasing and paw licking).

What Now?

Know the saying, "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem?"

Habit, financial interests and ignorance about the duration of immunity and lack of public outrage have kept rabies vaccine laws from changing. Well, you can learn more at The Rabies Challenge Fund.org.

In the meantime, keep this homeopathic detoxification remedy on hand: THUJA OCCIDENTALIS 30c and use it at least 3 days before and after any vaccinations to help detoxify.

And remember to get a copy of the Rabies Vaccination Certificate and keep it with your important papers. Be sure you have it on hand when you move or when you travel with your dog to protect your dog from having another shot and keep him from confinement should he bite someone!

If your veterinarian is still pushing a yearly vaccination schedule, especially with combination vaccines, its time you get a new vet.
