If you are looking for inexpensive raw dog food in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, I can help.
If you look at other pages here on Three Little Pitties, you'll notice I recommend it as the best dog food your canine can get. The problem is the pet store and grocery store premade has fillers and it's expensive. If you find a local pet store or dog deli with frozen raw food that's far better but still expensive ranging anywhere from $2.00 to $10.00 per pound.
Note: I originally wrote this page to share my raw dog food, however I am moving so can no longer do that.
Please find a raw feeders group like that in Yahoo Groups for your area. You can get great bargains. Or you can check out Big Dan's Trucking who sells many items including the following. Tell Charity that Andrea said "Hi!". (Just because I like her. I get no commission.)
Here's some of what you will find at Big Dan's
Note: Similar Chicken and Turkey parts available as well.
Please keep in mind the importance of non-muscle meat. (Heart is actually a muscle). Organs and offal have so much nutrition in them, it isn't funny. While many people suggest 10% organs and forget to use offal, they are missing the boat. There is an array of different nutrients in every part of an animal so never feed less than 20% organ but you can feed more. Then add offal to that. Just remember to balance the calcium.
